Noise Meters

Use a General Tools DSM403SD Sound Level Meter, a professional grade handheld sound meter for spot measurements.  We also have a module on noise measurement using an iPhone app to check noise levels wherever you are without any special equipment. The NIOSH Sound Level Meter app, has been shown to be fairly accurate when a professional meter isn’t available.  Unfortunately, there is no Android equivalent because there is too much variety in the mic hardware used in Android cell phones.
